Introduction:

Walker on flooring always aim to greet and provide a friendly and comfortable service.  We are a family run flooring show room with objective  to give our customers our best possible price and value. Sam Walker has over 18 years of experience and always aims to delivers a high standards of work. The manufacturer is guarantee to the product and walker on flooring is guarantee to the fitting of your floor. Please read manufacturers care guilds and product information to achieve the best of your flooring. 


 Your order:

When placing an order with us at walker on flooring, you will be accepting our terms and conditions. Dates of delivery are only approximate and can not be guaranteed. Walker on flooring cannot accept any liability for delay or meeting date quoted but will try our best. Please check the manufactures specification details for suitability of their intended purpose. Walker on flooring offers a measure, fitting, up lift of old flooring, and disposal service. This can be agreed and quoted separately. Walker on flooring cannot accept any liability for incorrect measurements or specification provide from the customer. Please give correct measurements and allow extra flooring for any doorways and coves. When placing an order for your flooring it is your responsibility to ensure the sub floor has been analyse and the condition has been checked. Subfloor needs to be flat and free from damp and defect. unless walker on flooring are carrying out work on your subfloor. If the subfloor needs treatment or repairs, this need to be done before the flooring can be fitted. Any damage caused to the flooring by the condition of the subfloor being inadequate, it is solely the customer responsibility to replacing the flooring. if you are looking to match the flooring you have brought previously, we recommend ordering a new sample as the product may have changed with either shades, colour variation, thickness or overall appearance. batch number cannot be guarantee unless you order all your flooring at the same time. Walker on flooring , require your name, address, phone number and email address. We will contact you using this information. We will only share your information if needed for third parties to deliver your flooring.


Liability:

Walker on flooring will always try to provide you with the information you need or help to answer your questions with our knowledge and experience. Occasionally if we are unable to help, please use guild lines from manufacturers specification details for suitable of their intended purpose of the flooring. Walker on flooring will notify our customers when order is ready to be collected from our show room or be ready to be delivered by email or phone call. If our customers wishes to re-schedule appointment the customer should give a minimum of one week notice. If we discover the flooring you have ordered is unavailable, we will offer you an alternative flooring or a refund of the price you paid.


 Product:

Please read all care guilds and product information relating to the flooring you are/have purchase- this will be found on manufactures web site. Walker on flooring  is responsible to ensure the flooring we supply is of satisfactory quality. When you receive your flooring, you have a reasonable opportunity to make sure it is the flooring you ordered. All flooring will have a guarantee provided by the manufacturer. Walker on flooring accept no responsibility for these warranties or guarantees.



Payment:

Walker on flooring accepts must major credit cards/ debit cards, BACS and cash payments. Paying by card must be same billing address of flooring being insulated. Payment will be taken at the time you place your order. If your flooring is being insulated by walker on flooring 50%  deposit will need to be payed when order is placed. The remaining balance is to be paid in full once the work has been carried out. When placing an order to be collected form walker on flooring premise, the balance is to be paid in full when order is placed. You may cancel your order within 7 days after your purchase with your receipt and will be given a full refund of the price you paid within 30 days. Prices are exclusive of vat at currant rates and exclusive of delivery charges. (unless indicated otherwise.)



Delivery:

Delivery dates are an estimate. An email or phone call will be given yo inform you when the flooring is ready to be collected from walker on flooring show room. Please inspect the flooring prior to loading. It is your reliability to make sure your flooring is transported safely and appropriately. floor can be damaged when being transported in unsuitable transport. Walker on flooring will not accept liability of damage that occurs after leaving our showroom. This does nor affect your statutory rights. Any flooring that is damaged or missing must be notified to walker in flooring by email, phone call or in person at our show room within 48 hours. If delivery exceed over 30 days, you may cancel your order and receive a full refund unless you have been informed of a large time scale and have agreed to it. If customers fails to take delivery or fails to give adequate delivery instruction, storing of your flooring will be charged to cover cost of storage. Signed delivery note is conclusive that delivery has been made to the premises of the customer and incompliance with the contract.



Fitting of flooring:

Rooms must be clear from furniture before our arrival, to avoid any delays or inconvenience. Paint work and wallpaper should be allowed to dry fully. 2 weeks  is the minimum recommended guild lines. This will help to prevent damage and scuff marks. Walker on flooring will not be liable for any damages. Door trimming- depending the depth of flooring, door trimming may be needed to be carried out. A carpenter will need to be asked to do door trimming. Walker on flooring will not be able to remove fire doors or external doors. Please make sure this has been arranged prior to your flooring being fitted. Uplift and disposal service is available but if not it will be your responsibility to uplift existing flooring before new flooring can be laid and leave them for your dispose of. Please inspect your flooring when work has been completed with your fitter. If any issues are identified, please address these with the fitter before they leave.



Cancellation and refunds:

We try our best to make sure flooring are in stock and available. If occasion products can be discontinued by manufacture or stock availability issues. We may not be able to inform you before placing an order. We will inform you as soon as we are notified of this issue by an email or a phone call. You can re-select a different flooring from our showroom at the same price or below or we will be happy to issue you a full refund of the money you have paid already. Cancellation of order will not be accepted after 7 days of order being placed. Once you have placed your order you will not be able to amend the delivery address. If you are not satisfied with your flooring, you must inform walker on flooring as soon as possible within fourteen days of your receipt.  You must take reasonable care of the flooring until statutory fourteen day period. Flooring must not be soiled, damaged in any way of the fourteen day cooling off period. customers will be responsible for returning flooring in the same condition you received your flooring. The right to cancel dose not apply to flooring that are made to your specific order size.

Walker on flooring will make sure all data is stored and treated with complete confidentiality and accordance with legal obligations.
